| Frogwood Community Arts Project Artists and Art Lovers: Join Us! Local and visiting artists, including musicians, visual artists, performance artists, etc. are invited to participate in our dream of building the Frogwood Lodge Community Arts Program. Community Art Projects in Action We are working on filling Frogwood with art both inside the buildings and in select forest spots. We hope to host art openings and shows on our many walls. We are available to host musical concerts, vaudeville acts, and performances of many kinds. Our large meeting space is available for rental for performances and creative gatherings. We are open to hosting benefit concerts for worthy causes. We are interested in hearing from interested artists and incorporating your art and your ideas into Frogwood's already stunning natural setting. Please contact us at arts@frogwood.org if you are interested in the Frogwood Lodge Community Arts Program.

This is the world we live in. The same world that pleads for healing in the voice of the hungriest child. The same world that shines hot pink in the plastic light of commerce. The same world that eats itself with waste. The same world that holds creatures that have never laid eyes on a human form. The same world that has nothing better to do than grow many pointed crystals out of its own sacred overflow. There is only one world. I offer gratitude to that singularity and to the sharing of space and light and abundance that it demands. I am ready for the world’s demands. I accept these bountiful gifts that surround me and I accept the responsibility to those gifts that holding them in my arms creates. I am ready for the world’s abundance. I stand with my feet planted in ancient soil inside the realm of the worlds oldest guardians and I open my own strong arms to the possibility of enough, to the possibility of completion, knowing it will only be the hand carved arch of this whole life that takes me there. We accept the heavy load and the tired arms that follow. We pledge to put one foot in front of the other and to drink plenty of water. We are ready for the blessings that defy common understanding of supply and demand. We demand nothing but our own continued unfolding. We are preparing for the work of our lives. We shape it as we ourselves are shaped. We hold it as we ourselves are held. We are ready for the synthesis of growth and rot focus and release mastery and mystery what has always been known and what will never be known. And we rest our cheeks on the earth in recognition of our place at the table of plenty. Of the teachers who have signed their names across our young lives and of the teachers who we catch glimpses of behind the trees. Recognition of our strong limbs and the boundless mystery of our healthy bodies. Gratitude that in the face of all that this world is, the path of interdependent autonomy lies open at our feet. That though we walk this path alone, we walk it alone together. Eyes focused on the light shining from within. ************************************************** The Vision of My Conscious Decision By Seabrook Leaf - Fall 2003
